Doug Dickson is President and Chief Energizing Officer of Seminar Direct, one of the America’s leading financial marketing companies with locations in Phoenix, Arizona and Houston, Texas.  Mr. Dickson received his formal education at Arizona State University, graduating Cum Laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business, with duel degrees in finance and real estate, while playing rugby for ASU.

He founded his company in 1990 and has built an enviable 20+ year track record of success in financial marketing using his multi-channel approach that integrates direct mail, e-mail and internet Search Engine Optimization.  His company is perennially ranked as one of Arizona’s top companies by Arizona Business Magazines with a client list that includes all of America’s top financial institutions, FMO’s, as well as many independents, politicians and celebrity clients.

Doug is a favorite headline speaker for financial conferences, tradeshows and corporate events focusing on financial marketing.  He is a writer for Senior Market Advisor Magazine and the Editor for the Sales and Marketing Forum on the popular site.  Doug has authored three books on marketing including Winning the Seminar War; Postcards, Profits and Platelickers; and CorelDraw Unleashed.  His newest book The Sellinar is currently under development and scheduled to be published by Time Warner Publishing later this year.

He is a Hall of Fame Inductee for Who’s Who in Direct Mail Marketing and has served as an Executive Board Member for The Salvation Army, March of Dimes, Arizona Easter Seals, Children in Need Foundation, and Phoenix 20-30 Club of Phoenix.  Mr. Dickson is currently a member of the Direct Mail Association, Printing Industries of American, Mensa, (PADI) Professional Divers Association and the Sun Angel Athletic Board at Arizona State University. 

Doug and his wife Tina live in the Desert Ridge Community of North Phoenix and enjoy sports, travel, scuba diving, charitable work and spending time with their son Michael.
